Designed with considerable input from students, Denison University’s Silverstein Hall consists of two brick buildings linked by a modern glass walkway. It includes student apartments, indoor community areas and outdoor spaces that lend themselves to social events.
Challenges
Both buildings were constructed simultaneously which required extensive manpower and coordination of resources. Construction was underway when the pandemic emerged, so additional safety protocols were required.
Outcome
Silverstein Hall has been well-received by the full campus community. The project was completed on time, and the client is happy.
