Challenges

The project required extensive coordination with the owner’s site contractor for new service. It also required custom distribution equipment including dry type transformer structures, cable tray and bus duct fabrication for connections to process equipment.

With a firm date for Rieke’s occupancy, delays in the manufacturing of electrical panels added to the challenges. These delays required Claypool to look outside of the traditional installation to temporarily feed several items to allow production and assembly prior to the permanent equipment arriving.

Outcome

The factory was fully operational.

Highlights

• This project included the installation of 10 pieces of new molders and 9 relocated molders for production of Bath and Body Works brand foaming hand soap dispensers. It also included relocation of all assembly equipment for the 15-piece process to create these dispensers.
