Challenges
The renovation of a busy working healthcare facility is challenging. Add a four-year project duration with a short time frame for initial phases, and the challenges become compounded. Detailed discussions were required to ensure error-free operation of special systems, such as fire alarms, over five phases of work while installing a new system. Also, the BIM coordination for the project included modeling of existing systems prior to demolition.
