Challenges

This was the first of Carvana’s prototype buildings. Work began on the project in 2019. When COVID hit in 2020, Claypool put controls in place to ensure the team could continue to work through the project and finish the job on time.

Outcome

The building and parking lot were completed in less than a year from start to finish.

Highlights

Meeting the schedule required a large crew of 45 associates working on site at key points in the job. Overtime hours and the use of prefab work helped to ensure the project was completed on time.
